Socialism is alive in our Country!

Let me get this straight. Not only is the government going to create an insurance prgram, but they are going to force me to purchase it, then if I 
don't I will be fined by the IRS? And even if I do purchase this insurance I will be taxed on it???? What the hell. That to me is the most socialistic thing I have ever seen our great country do.I don't have insurance as I really can't pay for the policy. I pay cash when I need to go to the doctor. I don't have a problem with that. I don't feel like the wealthier people of our country should pay for everyone elses insurance either. Even $400.00 a month I can not pay. Where it stands now I can get it for about that, but the deductible is so high I would never get to use it! To force into law the purchase of insurance is about as unconstitutional as telling me I must believe in and worship God.
 Our government seems to have the whole market covered once this insurance bill does pass, and belive me it will pass regardless of what the people want. They have the houseing market, they have the auto industry, they have the credit market, and now they have the insurance market. They have the Real ID Act going into effect real soon so they will know exactly where each of their citizens are. Obama is trying to pass a law that will take the schools away from the states and then they will have our schools, therefore our kids.
With each of these private indusrty markets they bail out and take control over they are taking away our right to live our lives as we see fit! Which is part of why our country is so great. We are supposed to have laws to protect the people and let them live their own lives. This isn't happening. We are slowly losing our lives as our own. We are becoming a sociolist country with little rights left. Instead of building on what our great forefathers  built we are burning it down. We are going backwards instead of forwards. Why are we regressing back to the way it was when they founded our country? I'll tell you. Greed and power!! That is all it boils down to. Nothing more, nothing less. Just look around at the worlds past and present socialistic countries. They were/are ran by power hungry people who feel like they are entitled to have it all and everyone should give it to them, not them actually go out and work for it like the rest of us. Let's just hope that this mess can be undone when the next president takes over.

Homeland Security Gone Too Far

Are you a nervour flyer? Do you have moods? Are you a normal human?
Well if you answer yes to any of these questions then you may come under scrutiny upon boarding a flight. Our Homeland Security is now tyring to implement a way to discover potentionally unruly passengers. They are testing the Wii in this area. They feel that if you are fidigety you may be hostel! I mean come on people. This is just crazy.
They altered the balance board of the game system to measure your weight shifting and are trying to get it to where it will detect your heart rate and breathing. They hope to have this in use by 2011. With the new system in place we will not only have to unpack everything and almost undress, but now we will have to wait in yet another line and be subject to having our moods checked by security.
This is just one more example of our tax dollars wasted. Ever since 9-11 Americans have been scrutinized unfairly. All in the name of "protecting" the American people.
This is just one more way for the government to control the people. I for one am a nervous flyer. So this means that when I go through the "new" security I will be pulled aside and given another, more intense look, and possibly miss my flight. The movie Minorty Report comes to mind when I think of all the government control we are getting now days. I find it hard to believe that we are not already implanted with chips that keep track of us and also read our moods and thoughts. All in the name of protecting us.
Of course with the Real ID Act which was passed last year this is one step closer. When the deadlines for the states to comply with the new law are up, then we will have a universal ID which will give them access to us at ALL times. Just google Real ID Act and you will see.
I hate to feel like democracy is becoming a thing of the past, but with all of the new Anti-Terror laws going into effect it is hard to feel any other way. All the anti-terror laws that have been implemented have accomplished is making us Americans feel unsafe and leary of our own government.

Correct me if I am wrong. Shouldn't you have to actually accomplish something great in order to recieve the Noble Peace Prize? If so then why has our president recieved this? So far nothing has been accomplished. All that has been accomplished is talk! Talk, talk, and more talk. He has talked till we are all blue in the face and yet nothing has come of it except mudslinging and apologies. How can one man go around and apologise for all of his people and the next be getting the Noble Peace Prize? I am just at a lost for words...... He is still fighting 2 wars out there with great indecision on that part, not knowing which way to turn in that area. Yet, he still got the prize? If the Noble Peace Prize could be rigged then this would be the result of it! Though I highly think that is not happening. But then again this could be just one more stunt to gain favor amoung his people which he has lost over the past few months. Tell me what has this man done in his life to warrent him getting this??

The blame game is so present in todays politics. It makes me want to scream!!! Always liberal this, right wing that. There is no meeting in the middle anymore. Each side has to have it their way or no way, this will be the fall of our great nation. I can only imagine what our founding fathers would think now a days if they were here. Neither side wants to meet on common ground and come together for the good of OUR nation. Everyone in office must continue to be greedy and look out for their own needs instead of what we put them there for. OUR needs.
It is as simple as that. They were put there to see that ALL Americans needs are meet and they seem to be doing everything but that. You would think that with all that is going on in this day and age that they would sit back and ponder "how can we fix this?". But no, instead they sit and ponder, "How can I get this, and give my buddy that?".
Just the thought of listening to another talk radio show or news program makes my skin crawl.
Doesn't anyone even realize that all of this blaming going around is just what the politicians want us to be doing? This will keep our minds clouded and off the real subject. All the media hype about this party is doing that and that party is doing this is just that. Hype.
When are the American people going to have enough? Hopefully it is not when it is too late and we have already been destroyed as a nation!
